Anne Motte graduated from the school of architecture in Grenoble in 2000, and practiced architecture with several architecture firms with which she was able to complement her training and perfect her skills. After gaining ten years of experience, in 2010 she decided to found her own business based in Gap, allowing to convey her architectural vision and philosophy through her studio Anne MOTTE Architecte.
Following numerous discussions, Anne Motte succeeds in accurately grasping her clients’ needs, desires and mindset in order to create the perfect architectural design for them. The dedicated and enthusiastic architect sees each project as a new adventure and a new challenge to which she brings her guidance and expertise to each step, without ever losing sight of the client’s role as a full participant. Anne Motte designs architecture that is long-lasting and perfectly suited to the client’s needs, while respecting current regulations, requirements imposed by the site or budget, and the use of appropriate materials.
Anne Motte thoughtfully develops architecture that is well-integrated into its surroundings. The Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region is one of the most sunny regions of France, with over 300 days of sunshine per year. This specific characteristic of the region must be taken into account and incorporated into each project, in order to create architecture uniquely designed to fit its location. This observation leads to the incorporation of well-lit spaces that benefit from the sun’s heat during the winter, while allowing protection from it during the summer.
For Anne Motte, an architect is like an orchestra conductor with the central role of coordinating the project throughout the design process.
