Act.A is an architectural studio based in Montreuil that was founded in April 2001 by three veteran architects. Thanks to the partnership and combined skills of its founders, it works on projects for both the public and private sectors. In 2012, Julien Fidon, DPLG architect, joined forces with urban planner Jean Luc Danglades after meeting at the Paris Malaquais School. Together, they took over the management of the Act.A agency, bringing a new architectural vision.
With a degree in Applied Art, Julien Fidon has unlimited creativity and openness. With Jean Luc Danglades, they share their creative affinities as well as their technical and interpersonal skills so as to further develop their architectural design. Working with a wide range of clients in the public facilities sector as well as in private housing, Act.A develops its business around a multitude of missions: new construction, renovation, extension, whether for a simple feasibility study or a complete project management mission.
The agency's new partnerships open the way to sustainable energy improvement projects, primarily for apartment buildings and multi-unit residential buildings. Julien Fidon manages and ensures the development of projects in the Paris region. As for Jean Luc Danglades, he develops the agency's projects in French Guiana for new construction of single-family and multi-unit housing as well as for industrial projects. Act.A is thus developing a unique approach in order to cater to different climatic contexts, both in mainland France and in overseas territories.
