In 2002, Jon Onandia Calvo graduated from the Higher Technical University College of Architecture (ETSAC) in A Coruña, Spain. Since 2003, he has been working in Geneva, Switzerland, in various architectural offices. He complements this experience by also working as an independent architect in France, where he has been registered with the Ordre des Architectes since 2016.
As an experienced architect, Jon Onandia Calvo prioritizes the quest for high-quality architecture that is adapted to the needs and means of the client. Each new renovation, refurbishment, restoration or new construction project is approached with sensitivity, bringing particular attention to the spaces, the usage, the materials and the integration.
As an architect, Jon Onandia Calvo promotes a simple and delicate approach that makes it possible to preserve the constructed and natural heritage and adapt it to the needs and challenges of new projects. In this sense, this architect encourages appropriate and meaningful designs that have a minimal environmental impact.
With the goal of offering tailor-made services, Jon Onandina Calvo takes the time to establish an open and reciprocal dialogue with his clients at each stage of their collaboration: pre-project phase, feasibility study, sketches, modeling, construction site supervision and acceptance of work.
