Asmaa Saad is an HMONP architect who graduated in 2016. She worked for 5 years in an architectural firm on collective housing and public facilities projects, before starting her own business. This architect created her agency UMIY in 2020, with the desire to work on more intimate projects, on a smaller scale.
"Umiy" means story or tale in Berber. Asmaa Saad has the will to understand her clients, their experiences and their aspirations in order to design unique and perfectly adapted projects. The clients become more than just a partner, they become the characters in the story that will be written in the spaces she designs.
Since its creation, UMIY has taken charge of the construction of several individual houses, as well as interior renovation projects, extensions and the creation of small custom-made furniture such as bookcases. Its creativity and ingenuity enable it to remove constraints and transform spaces in a sustainable and progressive manner.
Sensitive to the human dimension of her work as much as to technical rigour, Asmaa Saad accompanies you from the first sketches of your project to its final realisation. Her objective is to design functional and aesthetic spaces that meet the needs of those who live there.
The history of the place, its location, its insertion in the landscape or its orientation are all factors that guide each of its creations. Each project is thus part of a search for singularity that aims to represent the personality and desires of its users.
Based in Paris, Asmaa Saad works mainly in the west of the Ile-de-France region, between the Yvelines and the Hauts-de-Seine.
