Marie Thomas Meilhan set up her agency // mTm Architecte // in Grenoble in 2016.
mTm Architecte draws on its solid experience to find sustainable solutions: after graduating from the Nantes School of Architecture (Architecte DPLG), while working on public projects in France, she spent four years living abroad, where she worked in interior architecture in the United States and on competitions in Japan. On her return, she specialised at ENSTIB - École Nationale Supérieure des Techniques et industries du bois in Epinal - giving her a solid grounding in timber construction. Then, for 5 years, as a partner in an architectural practice in Grenoble, she worked on a number of technical projects (clean rooms), collective and individual housing, as well as business and teaching premises.
As each project is unique, Marie Thomas Meilhan offers you personalised support for extensions, renovations, thermal insulation, compliance with PRM standards and new builds.
Initial contact is made by telephone or videoconference. Depending on the issues, an on-site visit may be necessary.
mTm then draws up an "à la carte" estimate of possible services:
The Sketch phase enables us to clearly define your programme and check its feasibility in terms of current regulations and technical and financial constraints.
The PRELIMINARY DRAFT phase enables us to set out many of the elements of your project so that we can produce a reliable financial estimate.
For the PC / DP / CU phase, mTm Architecte liaises with the town hall and the relevant departments to prepare the Building Permit or Preliminary Declaration files for submission to the town hall.
Finally, mTm Architecte also carries out site supervision: drawing up the PRO plans, Dossiers de Consultation des Entreprises, Quotations, finalising works contracts, site supervision, scheduling, management, coordination and acceptance.
