Gecele Architecture is an agency specializing in the construction of housing and equestrian equipment, as well as in the rehabilitation and conservation of historic monuments.
Alongside its main activity, Gecele Architecture also stands out in carrying out event projects such as project management for the national ceremonies of July 14 on the Champs-Elysées and Place de la Concorde.
Since the creation of the agency, the agency's architects have carried out, or collaborated on:
- the construction of more than 1,500 collective and individual housing units;
- the construction of around fifteen buildings and infrastructures serving the equine industry, including: a pony club, a European center for diagnosis and research on locomotor conditions in horses, a research unit, an educational farm, the restructuring of two racecourses;
- the construction, restructuring and extension of around thirty facility structures (offices, primary school, high school, outdoor base, veterinary clinic, offices, Paris metro, administrative pavilion, restaurants, shops);
- the restoration and rehabilitation of around forty historic monuments (castles, villas, chapels, churches, pavilions, workshops, manors, military).
Created in 1990 by Bénédicte Gecele, Sylvain Pasquier is the co-manager. They collaborate each year on around fifteen projects, supported by three architects and an executive assistant. Bénédicte Gecele is a D.P.L.G architect. (graduated by the government) and graduated from C.E.S.H.C.M.A. (center for higher studies of history and conservation of historic monuments). Sylvain Pasquier is a D.E. architect (state qualified) and H.M.ON.P. (authorized to manage projects in their own name).
The agency partners with design offices that it supervises in order to offer all the skills necessary to carry out a project. The team will therefore be composed according to the needs of an architect, an economist, structural, fluid, thermal, acoustic engineers... The richness of the exchanges in terms of architectural visions associated with expertise and a wide range of skills form the DNA of Gecele Architecture.
The approach and the solutions proposed are based both on recognized know-how and on different degrees of reflection which range from the overall study of a territory to the technical requirements of a project, including the interior design or the design of objects… so many essential specificities for the implementation of large-scale projects.
