Certified architect (DPLG) Florent Rougemont graduated from ENSA Strasbourg in 1998 and moved to Montreuilen in 2004. Receiving the award for emerging young architects “Nouveaux Albums des Jeunes Architectes” the same year, he was called upon to work on prestigious cultural and patrimonial spaces including the Musée Buffon in Montbard, the Musée Malmaison and Musée de Bois-Préau in Rueil-Malmaison, and the Musée d’Orsay in Paris. In 2011, he established the architectural firm Atelier d’Architecture Florent Rougement (AAFR) in Saillans in the BioVallée in the Drôme Valley.
The multi-disciplinary firm specialises in architecture, urban planning and design, scenography, museography and graphic design. In the framework of new environmental building standards, the firm has implemented innovative strategies in the domain of green construction, bioclimatic buildings, energy efficiency and passive houses.
