Guillaume Cornier – DPLG Architect

Trained at the Paris-Belleville School of Architecture, Guillaume Cornier received rigorous training focused on modern architecture, rooted in a demanding project culture. This training allowed him to develop a comprehensive vision of the act of building, which he then enriched through diverse experiences within several agencies, before moving to the Centre region to found his own practice.

Initially, he specialized in the design of stores and commercial spaces, a field in which he honed his attention to detail and ergonomics. This practice naturally led him to design and manufacture custom furniture, combining functionality, aesthetics, and craftsmanship. Gradually, his practice expanded to include the design of buildings and homes, allowing him to approach architectural projects in all their complexity, from structural work to interior design.

His dual background in architectural and spatial design has made him a professional capable of leading comprehensive projects, mastering both technical issues and site usage. His expertise has been strengthened by a specialization in energy renovation, coupled with a concrete commitment in the field: he regularly trains companies on the right practices without ever encroaching on their expertise, in a respectful approach to transfer knowledge.

A passionate jack-of-all-trades, Guillaume Cornier works for both individuals and professionals. His scope of intervention is particularly broad: single-family homes, chalets, wooden houses, country houses, apartments, multi-family housing, shops, restaurants, offices, warehouses, industrial and agricultural buildings, and even public buildings (ERP). The latter require in-depth knowledge of fire safety and accessibility standards, which he integrates from the design stage to ensure inclusive spaces, adapted for people with reduced mobility or other forms of disability (sensory, cognitive, etc.).
