TERREAU ARCHITECTURE is available for new projects

Paul DORMONT, HMONP architect and professional drone pilot specialized in photogrammetry, draws on more than ten years of experience gained in a heritage architecture firm in Lyon to support a wide variety of projects. This solid experience has allowed him to become familiar with complex restoration operations, the rehabilitation of historic buildings, as well as contemporary projects integrating current environmental requirements.

His services cover a wide spectrum, meeting the needs of private clients, communities, and businesses. He is involved in pre-purchase consulting visits, building permit applications, detailed design studies, and complete missions including site supervision.

To ensure successful and technically flawless projects, he works in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of professionals: specialized engineering offices (structure, fluids, thermal), construction economists, control offices, and other experts as needed. This organization makes it possible to provide reliable and appropriate solutions at every stage, from design to completion.

Based in Saône-et-Loire, he now chooses to put his skills at the service of his home territory in order to actively contribute to the enhancement of local heritage and the development of new bioclimatic constructions. His approach is based on a strong conviction: it is possible to preserve architectural heritage while meeting today’s needs for comfort, energy efficiency, and sustainability.

Thanks to his dual expertise in architecture and drone piloting, Paul DORMONT offers an innovative working methodology. Photogrammetry allows him to carry out precise, fast, and secure surveys, particularly suited to fragile or hard-to-access structures. These surveys result in the creation of detailed 3D models, which facilitate technical analysis, design, and project monitoring.

The drone is also a valuable tool for inspecting existing buildings. It makes it possible to identify defects or pathologies in buildings without resorting to heavy equipment such as lifts, and without exposing operators to dangerous situations by physically accessing difficult areas. This approach improves site safety while optimizing costs and intervention times.

In addition, Paul DORMONT offers visual site monitoring through regular aerial photography. Always taken from the same angle, these images make it possible to document the progress of the work, illustrate the different stages of the project, and showcase the expertise of the companies involved. This tool serves both as a project management aid and as an effective communication support for project owners.

His goal is clear: to offer a quality service where listening and dialogue are essential. Each project is conceived as a collaboration, where the client’s expectations meet a responsible architectural approach that respects the environment.

Through his work, Paul DORMONT contributes to creating sustainable, harmonious, and functional spaces. His projects aim to reconcile architectural heritage and contemporary innovations, in order to build a future rooted in history but turned toward the challenges of tomorrow.
