Atelier Barrachina is available for new projects

Atelier Barrachina is a young and committed architecture studio founded in 2023 by BARRACHINA Savelli Mélany, architect graduated HMONP in 2024. The studio works on a wide diversity of projects, ranging from renovation to new construction, including exterior developments. The missions concern both private and public projects, including public-access buildings (ERP), with constant attention paid to architectural quality and use.

The existing at the heart of the projects:

At the core of Atelier Barrachina’s approach lies the existing, considered as a true resource for the project. Whether it is a ruin, an old building or a more recent structure, the existing is not limited to the walls: it also includes the topography, the landscape, the urban or rural context, as well as the history and uses of the place. Each project is born from a careful reading of what is “already there”, in order to propose accurate, respectful and sustainable responses.

Also graduated in Spatial Design since 2019, Atelier Barrachina places particular importance on the dialogue between interior and exterior. Volumes, circulations, light and materials are conceived globally, in order to create coherent, functional and sensitive spaces, where architecture and interior design naturally respond to one another. Each project is designed tailor-made, in close collaboration with the clients.

Atelier Barrachina offers comprehensive support, from design to completion, guiding its clients at every stage of the project. From the very first phases of reflection, the project is conceived as a whole, integrating architectural, technical, regulatory, environmental and budgetary constraints. Design studies are carried out with precision in order to define a coherent, functional project adapted to the existing context and to the requirements.

Atelier Barrachina ensures the preparation and follow-up of all administrative files necessary for the realization of the project. This notably includes planning permissions such as building permits, prior declarations or development permits, as well as specific files related to the site and its environment: access and road applications, land clearing files, Natura 2000 studies and procedures, or projects located in protected areas. In this context, Atelier Barrachina works closely with the instructing authorities and the Architects of Historic Buildings of France (ABF), in order to guarantee respectful integration of the project and smooth processing of the applications.

The technical design phases include the preparation of written documents, such as descriptions and technical specifications (CCTP), allowing the precise definition of construction choices, materials and implementation methods. Particular attention is paid to the selection of materials, chosen for their quality, durability and coherence with the architectural project. These choices are made in consultation with the client, in compliance with the program and the budget.

Finally, Atelier Barrachina ensures site supervision, from the consultation of companies to the acceptance of the works. The coordination of stakeholders, the control of the compliance of the works and the respect of the architectural project ensure continuity and overall control of the project until completion.
