Our practice is made up of two architects who can oversee every stage of a project. We offer fully bespoke solutions, tailored to your requirements and designed to reflect who you are.

For example, clients may choose to manage the construction work themselves and only ask us to handle the preliminary design and planning application.

We have a particular interest in the restoration of historic buildings and the energy renovation of existing properties. This expertise has been strengthened through our knowledge of the local architectural heritage and the various specialist training courses we have undertaken.

The different stages of developing a project:

Initial consultation

An initial meeting is generally arranged to establish contact, discuss your ideas and requirements, and gain an understanding of the site and your project.

Concept Design (ESQ) and Preliminary Design (APS)

The aim of this stage is to bring together your ideas and the planning regulations applicable to your project, in order to identify any constraints and then develop and draw up the design. A preliminary overall cost estimate is also prepared at this stage.

Detailed Design (APD) / Planning Application (PC)

Once the initial design has been approved, or amended if necessary, it is developed into a final version, allowing us to produce more detailed drawings of the project. We then prepare a more detailed cost estimate.

During this stage, the practice prepares the planning application or prior declaration documentation. We also assist you with the administrative procedures and follow-up.

Technical Design / Detailed Specifications (PRO)

Based on the approved Detailed Design and, where applicable, once planning permission has been obtained, we prepare detailed drawings and technical documents for the works. These include all the graphic and written information required for contractors to clearly understand the nature, quality, scope and limits of their services for your project.

Construction Supervision

We oversee and coordinate the contractors throughout the construction period.

A site meeting and written site report are carried out every week until the completion of the works.
