A graduate of the National Architecture School of Paris La Villette, with 17 years of experience working on diverse architectural and urban planning projects in the greater Paris region, Soazig Durand decided to return to his roots and relocate to the Rance region. In April 2017, Architect Soazig Durand (DPLG) took over the practice of Philippe Bonnet in Saint Malo, then went into partnership to create the studio LUN in her hometown of Dinan. LUN specialises in eco-refurbishment, with or without extensions, and also works on new builds, from homes to public buildings, for both private and commercial clients.
The studio’s philosophy is based on in-depth study of the site and its surrounding context, leading it to design, alter and consider the built environment to be integrated smoothly and respectfully. LUN prioritises the use of sustainable, responsibly-sourced materials as much as possible, placing particular importance on designing projects to improve their occupants’ quality of life including social economy approaches. Incorporating vegetation and the relationship between interior and exterior spaces are some of the primary concerns of LUN’s comprehensive thought process.
Each project is fully tailored to the client, personalised and overseen from conception up to delivery. LUN is at your service to bring your ideas to life according to your needs, tastes, lifestyle and family.
Have an idea or goal for your project? Contact LUN today and count on the studio’s dedication, professionalism and creativity for your project.
