Agency Presentation

ISARA architectes associés is the result of a collaboration between two DE-HMONP architects from the Oise region. After more than a decade of professional experience in various architectural firms, these former colleagues, driven by their desire for independence and creativity, became partners in order to become active, inventive architects attentive to your needs. The agency considers each project as an opportunity to provide a unique response, to rethink ways of living, improve standards, and make living environments more functional. The agency’s goal is to design architecture that is thoughtful, sustainable, pleasant, practical, and respectful of both people and the environment.

Aurélie BREUIL, Partner Architect

A state-certified architect since 2008, Aurélie BREUIL worked as a salaried architect collaborator for 15 years in the Oise region. Her thesis explored the role of the architect in the face of climate challenges, balancing responsibility, expertise, and commitment. The diversity of the firms she worked with allowed her to develop a broad range of skills in designing various types of programs: from public facilities to the energy renovation of social housing, from urban planning to the rehabilitation of heritage sites. During her academic journey, she explored the notion of place and environment as sources of inspiration (Master’s thesis), then the idea of constraint as the substance of a project, before focusing on rehabilitation and recycling for her graduation project. Today, by co-founding ISARA architectes associés, she aims to contribute to an integrated, respectful, and sustainable architecture.

Mathias Roué, Partner Architect

A state-certified architect since 2012, Mathias Roué worked as a salaried architect for 11 years in Paris and the Oise region. Housing issues were at the origin of his vocation. After artistic studies that allowed him to develop his imagination and explore urban utopias, his graduation project focused on the creation of a city in a flood-prone area. His career has been marked by numerous renovation projects, whether heritage-related, social, urban, or technical. This experience enabled him to move across different scales, from urban renewal to housing rehabilitation. New construction projects eventually led him to work on shaping the city itself. Today, by co-founding ISARA architectes associés, he seeks to contribute to a lasting, generous, and inventive architecture.

Our References

For the past three years, the agency has been developing projects at various scales, from housing to public facilities, from rehabilitation to new construction. Here is a non-exhaustive list of completed projects:

• Rehabilitation of the former Compiègne prison (60) into a residence of 20 apartments (from T3 to T6) with an annex building including a swimming pool and fitness area.
• Construction of a multi-purpose hall in Therdonne (60).
• Redevelopment of the forecourt of the Jean Moulin Media Library in Margny-lès-Compiègne (60).
• Rehabilitation of the Édith Piaf residence in Margny-lès-Compiègne (60).
• Construction of two business activity buildings in Saint-Leu-d'Esserent (60).
• Construction of 16 collective housing units in Compiègne (60).

The agency also supports private clients in their new construction, extension, and interior redesign projects. Each individual housing project is designed in close collaboration with the clients in order to respond as accurately as possible to their needs, lifestyles, and aspirations. The agency pays particular attention to the quality of spaces, the functionality of existing homes, and the harmonious integration of extensions, with an approach tailored to the everyday lives of their inhabitants.
