Graduated from the Versailles School of Architecture in 2007, Valérie Lebrun worked for more than 12 years in recognized Parisian architecture agencies. She experiments with all types of programs and project scales, from the renovation of apartments to the construction of collective housing buildings, from the design of specific furniture to the standards of establishments open to the public or the development of offices.
This architect carried out and coordinated for 4 years as project director, the monitoring of studies for the construction of a mixed-use island comprising nearly 200 housing units, a nursery, offices and underground parking.
In 2018, this professional set up as a freelancer in Montpellier.
Her first project consisted of fitting out a wine cellar restaurant and designing all the furniture.
Passionate about the treatment of details and the use of materials, she goes further by learning carpentry in the workshop.
Curious and versatile, Valérie strives to work alongside her own activity in collaboration with other architects (studies for housing operations, industrial and tertiary buildings, studies and monitoring of work for the construction of individual houses and renovation apartment,..).
In 2021, she created the VLA architecture workshop which she established in the center of Montpellier.
Concerned about offering meaningful architecture, this architect works in a shared space alongside professionals working on environmental issues.
Enriched by these synergies of experience and skills, Valérie Lebrun puts her expertise in the field of architecture, her listening skills and her sensitivity at the service of her clients.
She supports future residents and users throughout the project process, from feasibility to construction site monitoring. Each project is unique like its initiator.
With the ambition of delivering projects faithful to the images sketched during the first phases of the project, the VLA workshop manipulates the constraints (program, budget, site, technical standards, deadlines) and coordinates the various project stakeholders (design offices, companies), in the search for a response adapted to the service of each architectural project.
