Citadelle Architecture, architecture at the service of Réunion

Based in Saint-Denis de La Réunion since 2023, Citadelle Architecture supports private clients, professionals, and institutions in the design and realization of tailor-made projects. Its ambition is simple: to create spaces that combine functionality, aesthetics, and a strong connection to their environment.

The agency operates across many fields. It designs individual homes adapted to family needs, collective or grouped residential complexes, as well as tertiary projects such as offices, retail spaces, public buildings, or medical facilities. It also develops projects in the agricultural and artisanal sectors, designing farms, warehouses, or workspaces conceived to be both practical and sustainable.

Whatever the scale of the project—large or small—and whatever its context—urban or rural—the agency provides comprehensive support for both new constructions and renovation or rehabilitation projects. Each project is guided by the objective of ensuring coherence between use, the history of the place, and its environment, in order to deliver unique, meaningful works that are perfectly integrated into their context.

Citadelle Architecture was founded by Guillaume Jumel, Architect DEA-HMONP. After beginning his studies at the School of Architecture in Réunion, he joined the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture in Montpellier, where he earned his State Diploma in Architecture in 2017. Until 2020, he worked in several agencies in the south of France and in Paris, contributing to a wide variety of new-build, renovation, and rehabilitation projects.

Returning to Réunion in 2020, he collaborated for three years with a local agency specializing in tertiary, industrial, and commercial projects. In 2023, he obtained his Habilitation à la Maîtrise d’Oeuvre en Nom Propre (HMONP) in Montpellier, a milestone marking the official creation of Citadelle Architecture. Today, he puts his expertise and creativity at the service of projects in Réunion, with the ambition of offering contemporary, sustainable architecture deeply connected to the territory.
