GALLERON PHILIPPE is available for new projects
Passionate about Architecture with a capital A since the age of 10, Philippe Galleron had the opportunity to study at the UPA9 architecture school, located opposite the Louvre Museum in the heart of Paris. Those six years provided him with an invaluable, open-minded approach to architecture and design from every angle.
This broad perspective allowed him to begin his career working in several leading Parisian practices, gaining experience across projects of all sizes — from apartments to the Grande Arche de la Défense, as well as projects involving the Louvre and, later, projects throughout France.
This led to a truly multi-regional career spanning Paris, the Rhône-Alpes region and the south of France, and eventually Brittany, where he is now based. His professional journey has also taken him to Morocco, Mauritania and Burkina Faso.
Philippe Galleron considers himself a nomadic architect.
Beyond designing building envelopes, Philippe has also always been interested in interior design, creating atmospheres, furniture and other objects — including sculptures — to help future occupants make a space their own.
For 18 years, he headed an interior architecture department known as “ATELIER DE L'ARCHI”, which he founded at Galeries Lafayette in Paris. In its later years, the team was handling a new project or construction site almost every day — around 365 projects per year.
The department's philosophy was built around five key principles: listening, creativity, respect for budgets, respect for deadlines and quality of service.
Today, Philippe Galleron offers homeowners and owners of professional premises in the Brittany and Paris regions the opportunity to benefit from his extensive experience, whether for a new-build or renovation project. His approach is always tailored to their needs and budgets, while taking climatic and environmental constraints into account.
Creating a place to live is not something that exists solely in magazines or beautiful images found online. Every project begins with a dream and a need, and progresses through a series of stages before becoming reality. For that reality to be as successful as possible, however, an architect must listen, advise, make proposals and guide their clients throughout the process.
Because ultimately, it is not the architect who will live in your home or work in your space.
His guiding principle has always been: “DESIGN THAT LISTENS TO YOU.”
