BOINAY GUYON is available for new projects

The ISSO agency was born from the partnership between Thomas Guyon and Grégoire Boinay. We are two complementary profiles, united by the desire to put our diverse experiences at the service of architecture and the related professions.

Our combined backgrounds reflect a pragmatic approach to project management, both in construction and renovation at various scales. Thomas brings solid technical expertise, acquired in the field and through working with various project owners. He is able to support project leaders from the initial stages of planning, through financial feasibility, and through to completion. Grégoire, for his part, instills a conceptual and material approach focused on frugality and innovation. This constant dialogue between pragmatism and forward-looking vision structures our approach and guides us in meeting the expectations of project owners, while taking into account the environmental and cultural issues specific to each project.

We attach great importance to the simplicity and readability of architecture, seeking to highlight the essential. We defend a vision of architecture that combines a rigorous analysis of the constraints and opportunities of the site with a sensitive and plastic approach. Our approach consists of transforming each constraint into conceptual levers, integrating scientific, environmental and technical dimensions to design projects directly linked to their context. We aspire to a praise of the sufficient, convinced that architecture must tend towards this approach in a world with finite resources and increasingly complex interactions. With this in mind, we make a point of honoring the question of material, chosen for its qualities, used in the right place. @We are convinced that the project is not built on intuition alone. The convergence of knowledge is essential, and the quality of the architect lies in its ability to synthesize urban, formal, social, environmental, financial, constructive issues, it is this transversality that makes architecture a complete, complex and exciting field. The agency currently works on projects of all sizes, from 60 m2 to 2000 m2.
