The company provides reliable diagnostics of existing structures and high-quality project designs thanks to its comprehensive mastery of building engineering. It promotes bioclimatic architecture, optimizing energy performance and the environmental quality of sites.
SAUA develops its architectural activity from Haute-Marne, extending across the Grand Est region and now into the Paris area, in collaboration with Christophe JOURNE.
Graduated as an architect in 1988, Christophe JOURNE has always favored a bioclimatic approach to his craft — seeking architectural compactness that is both cost-effective in construction and efficient in long-term use, while harnessing passive solar energy to ensure comfort in both summer and winter.
Gifted with a natural curiosity, his scientific background has given him strong analytical and synthesis skills.
Thanks to his extensive knowledge and experience in building design, renovation, and urban and landscape planning, he has developed:
- A strong sense of organization and the ability to adapt to all stakeholders (clients, companies, design offices, inspection bodies, etc.), essential in his line of work;
- A rigorous approach to managing technical and financial objectives, crucial to project success;
- And multidisciplinary expertise that enables him to deliver innovative and relevant solutions to a variety of challenges.
Depending on your needs, he can assist you with a wide range of missions:
from surveys and analysis of existing plans and elevations, to feasibility studies and preliminary sketches (including diagnostics, structural integrity, energy performance, accessibility for people with reduced mobility, fire safety, sanitation, and utilities).He also handles project design and administrative authorizations (declarations, building permits, ERP approvals), construction planning and company consultation, as well as site supervision through to final project delivery.
