ATELIER LIMA is available for new projects

Founded in 2023 by Maëva GEUDRE and Charlie BORDECQ, Lima is an architecture and interior design studio born from a meeting at the École Spéciale d’Architecture and from a deep attachment to the Mediterranean coast — its light, its textures, and its contrasts.

Morning under the shade of pine trees, midday against limestone cliffs, feet in the turquoise water of the calanques, late afternoons in village squares cooled by stone and sand, and evenings in lively city centers — their daily surroundings shape their vision. Here, the notion of travel is measured in just a few kilometers, and every landscape inspires a new way of inhabiting space.

It is within this rich and multifaceted context that their approach takes root: to respect, reveal, and transform the existing while engaging in dialogue with the territory. Their renovation projects aim to restore meaning and vitality to places steeped in history — old houses, Marseille apartments, Provençal bastides — by celebrating traces of the past while meeting contemporary needs. Extensions, on the other hand, offer an opportunity to accompany evolving lifestyles: adding a room, opening a façade, rethinking circulation to create a new balance between indoor and outdoor living.

Their consulting missions support private and professional clients early in their process — helping define needs, understand constraints, and imagine the potential of a place before any intervention. Finally, their new constructions are a field for experimentation, where they design refined, elegant, and contextually grounded architectures, emphasizing the harmony of volumes, natural light, and sustainable materials.
