IMÉ Architecture Studio

IMÉ is an architectural practice founded by Émilie CALVAS, a qualified DE HMONP architect and graduate of the National School of Architecture of Marseille.

Inspired by the Corsican villages and Mediterranean landscapes she calls home, Émilie has developed an architectural practice rooted in proximity and a deep connection to place. Drawing from both Provence and Corsica, her work reflects the shared culture of these Mediterranean regions, where landscapes, architecture, craftsmanship, and local traditions come together to shape meaningful spaces.

Meeting Places and People

At IMÉ, every project begins with a meeting.

First comes the encounter with the site itself—its architecture, landscape, light, history, and identity. Before designing, the studio believes in taking the time to observe, understand, and appreciate what already exists.
