GLAD ARCHITECTURE is available for new projects

GLAD is an architecture practice based in Vitré, with a branch office in Rennes.

Founded in 2018 as a collective, it became an established practice in 2026, led by Armand Boulaire and Donatien Féat.

Both graduates of the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Bretagne, we have each continued our professional development to broaden our expertise in architecture, historic buildings, sustainable architecture and urban planning.

With more than seven years of professional experience, we now support clients on projects of all scales, bringing together a cross-disciplinary approach and complementary expertise.

The name GLAD comes from the initials of its founding members and means “heritage” in Breton, evoking respect for existing buildings and the enhancement of available resources. It also means “happy” in English, reflecting an optimistic outlook and our desire to bring a positive dynamic to the act of building.

Our approach is built around three key stages:

Listen: We carefully analyse the places, their potential and their regulatory constraints. We take the time to understand your needs and aspirations.

Propose: At every stage of the project, we take the time to explain and justify our decisions, whether technical, economic, environmental or otherwise.

Deliver: We “stay the course” through to completion, ensuring rigorous and regular site supervision while respecting the agreed schedule and budget.
