A state-certified architect since 2013, I created the firm Yannick Bodein Architecte and currently work on all sorts of projects throughout the Bas-Rhin department in France.
A specialist in the local timber industry, I have developed particular interest and skills in working with wood in all its forms. Wood is a source material that is abundantly present in the region and constantly renewed, and is highly competitive in terms of energy efficiency.
Today, we are able to develop the buildings of tomorrow, a balance between thousand-year-old tradition and innovation: traditional half-timbered construction combined with industrialised wood panels. Our projects are designed to optimally meet our clients’ needs, while giving prominence to a local resource and craft developed over centuries.
As a complement to all architectural projects we additionally provide economic expertise to all our clients, with the aim of ensuring the control of estimated costs and construction deadlines as well as the effective implementation of materials.
Collaborative consultation prioritising client input to ensure their satisfaction, a well-reasoned economical approach and the protection of the environment are the integral missions of my architectural firm.
