Originally from Belgium, Catherine de Bellefroid received her degree in architecture from the Saint-Luc institute in Brussels in 1989.
Her portfolio includes a diverse range of projects, primarily for private clients, including building and enlarging houses, renovating older buildings, interior design projects, furniture design, and landscape and swimming pool developments. Her goal is always to breathe life into a space or an object, continually seeking to respect its history and character.
Consulting and advising constitutes an important part of her work, and the architect offers consultations to respond to all of your questions regarding architecture, developing interior or exterior spaces, interior design and remodeling.
Catherine de Bellefroid has a particular appreciation for simplicity, passive houses, old stone, light, contemporary spaces, antique furniture and art in all its forms.
Most of all, however, she has a passion for people, their stories, aspirations, well-being, and spaces… A house is like a second body that should function in perfect harmony.
Catherine de Bellefroid has traveled extensively throughout Europe and works in various countries including Switzerland, Belgium, England, Italy and France.
Based for nearly three years in the Alpes-Maritimes department of France, the architect has also currently works as a property manager in complement to her work as an architect, handling the complete management of secondary homes for foreign homeowners.
This work can include partial renovations, all the regular maintenance of the building and landscape, as-necessary work and potential administrative procedures as well as finding caretakers.
