Since 1998, Hervé RABINEAU has been designing and overseeing the construction of all types of private, public, professional, and commercial buildings for his clients. He works extensively with private individuals, designing new villas and assisting with all kinds of rehabilitation, extension, or renovation projects. He imagines your project with you, manages all administrative procedures, and supervises the construction site until you move in.
Over 27 years, he has built solid expertise in construction, interior and exterior renovation, and extensions — covering a wide range of projects: single-family homes, apartments, residential buildings, co-owned properties, commercial spaces, offices, public facilities, workshops, and warehouses.
During his studies, Hervé RABINEAU worked for several architecture firms. Shortly after earning his architecture degree, he began working independently in 1998, and went on to found SELARL Empreinte d’Architecture in 2001.
Since then, he has designed projects of all types and scales — starting with small residential renovations, and progressing to large-scale rehabilitation and new construction projects for public clients, local authorities, housing organizations, and co-owners’ associations. Renovation, extension, and the transformation of living and working spaces, however, remain at the core of his practice.
He has worked with numerous local authorities, major brands such as Crédit Agricole, Casino, and Lidl; housing organizations including ACM, Hérault Habitat, FDI, and SFHE; as well as many private co-owners and developers such as Camif Habitat.
In every project, he favors an eco-conscious approach to architecture. As a certified “RGE” architect (Recognized Guarantor of the Environment), he incorporates sustainable solutions adapted to each client’s lifestyle and expectations. Whether it’s a timber-frame or insulating brick house, a wood stove or heat pump system, a bioclimatic greenhouse for heat recovery, underfloor heating, a passive house, or a fully ecological project, he finds the best solution while respecting current regulations, comfort requirements, and budget constraints.
