EURL SILVIA LATTA ARCHITECTE is available for new projects

Graduating in architecture in Genoa in 1998, Latta Silva began her professional career before moving to Paris in 2000. She worked there for nearly twenty years within various architectural firms, including Henri Gaudin, Aéroports de Paris and Arquitectonica, working on a wide range of projects, both in terms of scale and programme. She then chose to move to Nice and develop her own independent practice, focusing more on private clients and establishing a direct relationship with them.

Today, Latta Silva works throughout the Alpes-Maritimes on renovation and transformation projects for apartments and villas, new-build projects, extensions and upward extensions, as well as interior architecture commissions. She enjoys working on both the complete transformation of a villa and more modest projects: for her, the interest of a project does not lie in its size, but in the solutions architecture can provide for a place and its occupants.

Design is at the heart of her work. She begins with the client's brief and, when it has not yet been clearly defined, helps them develop it: how do they use the spaces? What are their habits, lifestyle, furniture and priorities? Working on volumes, natural light, circulation and respect for the existing building then makes it possible to create a truly bespoke response. Her approach is predominantly contemporary and Mediterranean, sober or colourful depending on the project, without seeking to impose a predetermined style. She can extend this approach to interior architecture and the design of bespoke furniture.

Latta Silva also places great importance on feasibility and administrative procedures. Prior declarations, planning applications, permits and the regularisation of existing structures are among the matters she can handle as part of her services.

Her services are tailored to each client's needs and can evolve throughout the project. It is therefore possible to begin with a feasibility study or planning application and then continue with detailed design, contractor selection and construction supervision. She works independently while, depending on the project, collaborating with a draughtsperson and an experienced architect specialising in construction management.

Italian and having lived in France for more than twenty-five years, Latta Silva naturally works in both French and Italian and can also assist English-speaking clients. This dual cultural background also facilitates communication with an international clientele.

For her, the best measure of a successful project is ultimately the client's trust: when, after a project has been completed, they return with a new project or recommend her to their family and friends.
