ATELIER SAJ is available for new projects

Atelier SAJ is an architectural practice led by two partner architects. We design and oversee new-build, extension, interior design and renovation projects for private clients, businesses, retailers and public-sector organisations. With offices in Toulouse and Lille, we work throughout the South-West and Hauts-de-France on a daily basis, while also taking on projects anywhere in France when appropriate.

We believe that a successful project starts with careful listening. Before putting pen to paper, we take the time to understand your lifestyle or business, your budget and schedule constraints, as well as the specific characteristics of the site or existing building. Every project receives a bespoke response: we do not apply ready-made formulas, but seek the right solution — one that makes the most of your circumstances, natural light, volumes and applicable planning regulations.

Our work covers the full range of architectural services. We can support you from the initial sketch through to completion and handover: feasibility studies, concept design and preliminary design, planning permission or prior declaration applications, tender documentation, quotation analysis, and construction management and supervision. You can also entrust us with only part of these stages, depending on your needs and budget. In every case, you have a single point of contact throughout the project, from start to finish.

The renovation and transformation of existing buildings are an important part of our practice: major renovations, changes of use, upward extensions, refurbishment of commercial or professional premises, accessibility upgrades and compliance work for buildings open to the public. We pay particular attention to energy performance and summer comfort, in line with the requirements of France's RE2020 environmental regulations and available renovation support schemes.

Cost and schedule management are an integral part of our mission. We estimate construction costs from the earliest stages, consult several contractors to obtain comparable quotations, and monitor the progress of the work as well as the compliance of the completed works. Our role is also to protect your interests through clear contracts, verified insurance coverage and properly documented decisions.
