Dé architecture is available for new projects

Dé. architecture supports private clients and property owners with their renovation, extension and transformation projects involving existing buildings.

Based in Lille, the practice is led by Dylan Nourry, a state-qualified architect (ENSAPL, 2022) and registered with the French Order of Architects. After several years working at an architecture firm in Lille on public-sector projects — including schools, nurseries and school restaurants — he established his own practice to focus on projects involving existing homes: historic houses, farm buildings to be renovated, garages to be converted, attic conversions, extensions and upward extensions.

The practice is based on a simple principle: before building something new, look at what already exists and consider what can be achieved with it. This focus on existing buildings guides every project, whether it involves a small extension or a complete renovation. The practice also has a particular interest in bio-based materials and in designing buildings that can evolve over time, with projects conceived to go beyond their initial use.

Dé. architecture can support clients throughout every stage of a project: feasibility studies, initial designs, preparation of planning applications (prior declaration or planning permission), contractor tendering and construction supervision. Services can be provided on either a full or partial basis, depending on the client’s needs and budget.

The practice primarily works in Lille and the surrounding metropolitan area, as well as more broadly across the Hauts-de-France region, with the possibility of managing certain projects remotely depending on their nature.

Every project begins with a direct discussion about the site, budget and regulatory constraints, before any fee proposal is prepared. The aim is to build a relationship of trust throughout the project, from the initial site visit to the completion of the works, with clear communication regarding timelines and costs.
