YZAA is available for new projects

YZAA is an architecture firm founded in 2025 from the meeting of Juliette POLY and Jean-Philippe MANTEZ, two architects with complementary professional backgrounds:

• Juliette has mainly worked in the tertiary sector (offices) and housing, particularly in social housing, developing a strong understanding of living spaces, their uses, and regulatory requirements.
• Jean-Philippe, on the other hand, has worked on numerous public-access buildings (ERP), especially in the education, healthcare, and social sectors, gaining solid expertise in complex projects and public procurement procedures.

Although recently established, the firm benefits from over 15 years of combined experience gained within well-established agencies in the region. This collaboration is built on a shared conviction: creating projects that combine architectural excellence, sustainability, and well-being.

At YZAA, each project is approached as a global reflection where technical, aesthetic, and functional aspects interact. Architecture is not merely seen as an object, but as a living environment that must engage with its surroundings, its history, and the uses it accommodates.

An architectural project is, above all, built through continuous dialogue. The relationship with clients therefore plays a central role in YZAA’s approach. Listening, discussion, and a deep understanding of expectations allow ideas to be transformed into concrete spaces. This dialogue encourages the emergence of bespoke projects tailored to the lifestyles and needs of their future users.

Beyond design, the firm also oversees construction works to ensure that projects are executed in line with the original concept and in compliance with all applicable standards.

Aware of contemporary challenges, the firm promotes an architecture that is mindful of its environmental impact. Local sourcing, the use of bio-based materials, and reuse strategies are key principles guiding their pursuit of simplicity and sustainability, ensuring each project is designed responsibly. The goal is to create long-lasting buildings that stand the test of time while minimizing their carbon footprint.

YZAA is based in Mont-Bernanchon, at the heart of the triangle formed by Béthune, Hazebrouck, and Saint-Omer. The firm mainly operates within a radius of approximately 100 km. This geographical proximity allows for strong involvement in each project, dedicating the necessary time while ensuring a consistent on-site presence during the construction phase.
